Exclusive interview with former Liberal deputy PM, Sheila Copps on the SNC-Lavalin controversy

The SNC-Lavalin controversy continues to dominate Canadian politics – with the opposition Conservative Party protesting the Liberal decision to end the Justice Committee investigation.

Meanwhile, MP Jane Philpott, who stepped down from cabinet amid the controversy, revealed in an interview to Maclean’s that, “there’s much more to the story that should be told.”

But former Deputy Prime Minister, Sheila Copps, says former Attorney General, Jody Wilson-Raybould’s testimony before the Justice Committee, “does not ring true”. Copps explains in an exclusive interview with Lorna Dueck.
