Pope Francis visits the Rohingya Muslims - Molly Thomas Web Exclusive

Faith has been a dividing factor in Myanmar for the Rohingya Muslims. Almost a million have been pushed out of the only country they knew, into neighbouring Bangladesh. The refugee crisis is now the fastest growing in the world. A Canadian humanitarian worker was with the Pope when he visited the refugee camps and shares his perspective.

Molly Thomas is an award winning TV Host/Correspondent/Producer from Regina, SK who now resides in Toronto, ON. During her career, she has worked for all three major networks in Canada and the Rwandan national news station abroad. Her most recent international projects have been with the faith-based, current affairs show Context with Lorna Dueck. During her career, Molly has reported from Somalia, Turkey, Iraq, Jordan, Haiti, France, England, Rwanda, Uganda and New York. She speaks at various conferences and panels on her journalistic pursuits. In 2015, she finished an MA in Global Affairs at the Munk School, University of Toronto. In her spare time, she MCs several charity events, teaches Zumba, loves to eat wings, and is always up for a competitive game of basketball!
